The City of Milwaukee is known for frigid temperatures during the winter months. It is also the time of year when the Milwaukee Fire Department responds to the most structure fires. Every year hundreds of fires are caused by candles, careless cooking and unsafe heating practices in the home. While it is important to stay warm, it is just as important to be safe.
